Smart TV and Sky problems

I just unpacked a newly delivered hisense h50b7300uk, connected all - great. Turned Sky on, menu came up but can not select any channels to actually view as a msg comes up on the telly asking to insert a viewing card.
Any pointers how to fix this?
Viewing card is in the sky box as I literally unplugged it from one TV into the new one.
