                    Hi guys,
I've submitted my plans for planning and about to get them approved.
Housing association next door, I served party wall notice myself to them. Their surveyor has come back with a £1,550 + VAT quote to act as their party wall surveyor and as mine.
It's a dead easy loft extension so I don't expect any issues, I am also friendly with both the manager at the housing association and the existing tenants.
Question is - does this sound like a reasonable quote to you? After reading some horror stories online it feels like it's not bad at all as I read some people paying north of £3,000 for ONE surveyor (here he would act for both)
Thanks for feedback!

Yes, it's a pretty fair price. Still outrageous, but cheap as they go. Imagine having to pay over £3k each for two surveyors!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
