Hi guys. Normally I would deliver it by hand or cash on collection. It’s a car headlight and it’s quite fragile. Most companies will send it but not insure it. I want to send it insured, also I want to make sure it’s handled with care, and kept facing the right way up (this way up). Any suggestions Please? Thanks.

I would get a large box and triple bubble wrap it in bubblewrap plus wrap in an old clean towel.
Overkill on the packaging and try and wedge it in box with polystyrene surrounds and it might be ok.
The couriers wont cover it for breakages tho so I`d send it via RM.
I post cake pedestal stands and so far have arrived safely.
Ask the buyer to let you know when it has safely arrived. HTH.0 -
A mate once sent me a pair of headlights, each bubble wrapped, loads of bubble wrap in the box to fill the gaps and ensure no movement in the box, arrived safe and sound.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

The guy near here who "spivs" car lights puts them in a box in a plastic bag. He has a black bin liner in the box into which he sprays foam, like the stuff builders use.
He says he has never had one arrive broken, some do not arrive but that is another story.0 -
Anything fragile and heavy like that,my rule of thumb is that the least time it is in the postal system the less likely it is to get broken. So send it 24hour courier. and package it up as advised above. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0
