The first link you sent was not a scam. It was a misunderstanding and the buyer jumped the gun contacting his bank when he thought his item was not posted. Nothing unusual or suspicious about that. Will all be cleared up by the bank and everyone should walk away happy.

The second thread posted doesnt really add up as numerous people have posted. A bank blocking a 10k transfer doesnt make sense. If anyone would have blocked it it would have been the senders bank not the receivers bank. The fact that the bank approved in the sellers favour after their investigation and closed his bank doesnt add up either. I believe the full story was not told in that thread

Yes I read that one earlier and the seller had both the money and the item so didn't lose anything just a buyer bumping the gun like the poster above said.

So again the seller didn't lose any money and when they challenged it they got to keep all the money. Yet you claimed if they challenged it would result in a CIFAS marker which wasnt the case.

So yes some hassle but no sellers lost out like you claimed and certainly no CIFAS marker.
