‘Please do not check anyone out on our systems, people like family members, new partners or potential tenants, you will be investigated, lose your job and possibly face criminal proceedings’.
You must have a legitimate policing purpose to run a check on anyone. Even a vehicle or a home address. They are extremely strict on this.0 -

New partners would be the only exception, due to Clare’s Law, but then There’s still a process to follow!0 -
i regularly undertake police checks on people in my job. The person knows and agrees to the police check, and there are a whole load of safeguards about it. I would hope no random landlord is going to get access to that informationAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0
