drivers seatbelt replacement costs

Options
I've had to buy a new seatbelt, drivers side. wondering how much a mechanic would charge me to fit it? it's something I would not want to try on my own.

Shouldn't be more than an hour or two labour, depending on how much trim has to come out.

But good luck finding a garage that'll fit parts you're supplying, especially if they're used and include pyrotechnics.

better try a bodyshop rather than regular garage if trim removal is required

Garages are perfectly skilled and experienced in trim removal - it's day-in-day-out stuff.

Mine replaced a seatbelt with a second hand one I'd had off eBay. Might have helped that they were MOTing the car at the time.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Sorry, I don't remember. It wasn't a huge amount but as I was having the MOT and the service at the same time it was just part of the final total.
The second time it happened (bloody dogs) I just got a handy neighbour to fit it for me.
