Plastering House Skim

Options
Hi all,

Moving into a 3 bed property soon which has Artex Ceilings throughout.
Received estimate from well-reviewed plasterer in the region of £1200-1500 for whole house.

Artex requires skimming for smooth finish.

Approximately 85m2.

Does this sound like a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance! :)

Its worth asking if they will be skimming the ceilings or putting up new plasterboard.

We had ours looked at recently and both guys said that unless it was really light artex they would reboard and skim the new board for a better quality finish.

They said he thicker artex was hard going to skim.
