UKPC parked outside the lines

Hi all, I’m new to this for, I’ve been victim of a “slap and dash”, just received £100 charge for parking outside the lines in a car park and I’m wondering if I have grounds to appeal...
The car was parked in an end bay not causing an obstruction and the car park was very busy. The car was parked at a slight angle with the front nearside slightly over the line (not encroaching another bay) due to the way the nex car was parked. On returning to the car the one next to it that was originally parked at an angle was gone and had been replaced with another that was parked straight.
There is plenty of room for free passage of vehicles around mine and this had absolutely no affect on the capacity of the car park or it’s operation.
The ticket was fixed to the windscreen in returning to the car and valid ticket was displayed in the windscreen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Maybe a good idea to mention who the Parking company was (some do - some don't do court). Also did u take any photographs of the way your car was parked - may have some evidential value. You will be told to read the 'newbies' thread which will give you an insight to how to deal with the situation. The first thing to do is not panic but have a good read.0

No pics, I imagine they’ve taken care of that one for me. It’s UKPC, I’ve read in here that they were in trouble some time ago for fraud, hardly suprising, they should wear a mask and stripes jumpers0

Fraud? Yes it’s obviously their fault that you weren’t able to park within the lines..
Perhaps you should take parking a lessons rather than blame someone else..0 -
Many judges regard such claims as a trifling matter so encourage them to take you to court.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP after the election, as it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

From this and your other posts it's pretty obvious who you always side with I wonder if your forum name means you work for a PPC with lots of made up to catch em signs "on the wall"?0 -
My experience of UKPC signs is that they do not meet the BPA CoP requirements, and are dissimilar to the ones used in the Beavis case.
Read the sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the appeal template in blue text you will find there, unaltered, from the keeper.
Get pics of the site and signage.
Read up on what to do if/when your appeal is rejected.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
Are you absolutely sure that a scammer, who has been caught doctoring time stamps on their photo' evidence, didn't deliberately park a vehicle such that it forced others to park in a particular way?
