Letterbox draft excluder- no screws?

Just moved into a rented house and the letterbox and door are both metal. There is no draft excluder inside the letterbox so it flaps in the wind and lets in a draft. As I rent I can’t attach a screw on draft excluder.
Does anyone know of a solution to the problem that doesn’t need screws?
Thanks

Could you use some of those velcro strips that you can get these days ? Or some of that strong double-sided carpet tape ?0

Ask the landlord for permission to fit a draft excluder.
Otherwise try fitting one with double sided tape.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
Wide masking tape over the apperture works as a bodge. Just remember to remove it before postie is due..0

I have one of these:

though I can't see why a landlord would object to you fitting a draft excluder.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards.
