Smart Meters - semi-concealed gas

Seventh Anniversary Combo Breaker First Post
Hi everyone,

I am about to switch supplier (savings to be had), but I want to get a smart meter installed.

My current supplier (Bulb) didn't install smart meters for me due to the semi-concealed has meter that I have. So I have asked potential new suppliers (EDF, SSE, Igloo) if they can install to this type and they have all said no too !

I find it really hard to believe this situation. This is a very common type of meter box, and I thought the energy companies were under pressure to deliver these.

Can anyone recommend a solution/supplier that will do this ? Bit of a dealbreaker while I am switching.

Thanks :T
