Leak problem after selling a house

I read through his messages again from last week and he says about his solicitor contacting my architect (the architect will not know anything about the tradesmen I used). I assume the architect is bound by client confidentiality? Ive nothing to hide but now the guy has !!!!ed me off, I don't actually want the architect discussing anything with him0

The architect shouldn't be discussing your information with anyone without your permission - that is very straight forward.
As for the buyer - block them. I'd never swap numbers and deal directly with anyone buying my house. Simple reason being that's what I pay the estate agent and solicitors to deal with.0 -
Stop answering the phone / block them. Enjoy a quiet Christmas! For building work that old they haven't a hope of the resolution they want.0

I would hope his solicitor would have enough sense to tell him that's a daft idea. I can't see your architect wasting their time by entering into a discussion.
Just shows how much the buyer knows about the conveyancing or building process. Nothing.
OP, Block them. You have no need to know them, so don't.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
