@ OP
You have stated you feel lonely and isolated. The last few posts have suggested that your disability is connected to your overspending. Is this correct? Or do you think that it is connected to your perceived inability to successfully balance your budget? What method do you use when you set up your monthly budget?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

. I've lost my energy and enjoyment for planning and cooking meals.
I'd recommend looking into meal prepping. Take a day that you have spare and cook a couple of meals and then you can eat them through the week. You can keep 3 days worth in the fridge, and freeze the rest. Cook enough and you can have a nice rotation so you are not eating the same thing easy day.
I don't like cooking everyday, and sometimes I have a headache after work so dont feel like cooking, so meal prepping is great for me. Cooking a meal for 4 isn't much different than cooking for 1, and then you have 1 meal you can eat then and 3 you can freeze.0 -
thanks for all your replies very helpful.
Re: meal prepping the space I have is limited and so could only store 1 to 2 meals in the fridge and maybe some single packed chicken, salmon or frozen herbs.
I haven't done a statment of earnings before or really done a budget before!♀️. I do have a spending tracker though which I have been completing over the last 6 months and its astonishing to find out where my money is going! I now want to fix this issue and repriortise where my money goes. However I've not overspent and always am able to pay my bills.
I need to start really small so I'm not overwhelmed by it all. I could do 2 things this week:
draw up a budget this week for the year and repriortise my spending
meal plan 1 or 2 meals for the week0
