Looks like the Tandem Cashback Credit card is gone

Not clear whether existing cardholders will lose theirs, but definitely no more for any new applicants.

Not really surprised. When a credit card issuer is offering something unprofitable you can't expect it to continue once the new customers have been attracted and signed up to the product.

Very true.
I have both of these cards, and while the cashback was a nice little bonus, my primary use is for the fee free overseas spending.
So as long as that stays, for me, they will still be worth holding on to.

I have the Tandem Cashback, haven't received any notification from them that cashback is going. Will be closing the account if they take it away.

Tandem are going to start charging a fee for their credit card from January
the 0.5% cashback credit card is no longer available

Existing customers will not be affected

It'll be interesting to see what these "exclusive services and benefits" turn out to be. Sounds a bit like a packaged bank account with a credit card instead.

The fact they've closed the product to new business (and is obviously not profitable) means your card won't be changed

Why would they inform existing customers that they couldn't get a product they already have?!
