It is all laid out for you in the NEWBIE sticky, in the second post by Bargepole where he links to a topic What Happens and When: -Here's a summary from bargepole of what happens when, what you MUST do in time, re the paperwork & deadlines: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=55463250

i have just found out that the person who i am writing all this on behalf has sent off the form asking for mediation... when that breaks down will that just go back to what we need to do? or are we now effectively screwed... he did this without the advice i was getting from you, as i previously alluded to, his work (government employee) had started hassling him about a CCJ hearing which could affect his clearance level, so i think he panicked and did this.Le_Kirk said:It is all laid out for you in the NEWBIE sticky, in the second post by Bargepole where he links to a topic What Happens and When: -Here's a summary from bargepole of what happens when, what you MUST do in time, re the paperwork & deadlines: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=55463250 -
Will have no affect.
Just tell him to say that he is prepared to pay £5. The Claimant will refuse that. He must remain firm at £5 and the mediation session will end.
A waste of everyone's time.0 -
OK brilliant, thanks, at that point will we revert back to having to write a witness statement to send to the county court?KeithP said:Will have no affect.

At that point I am guessing a judge will see the case and hopefully treat them with the contempt they deserve.0 -

As KeithP says failure of mediation will have no effect.KeithP said:Will have no affect.0
