I assume you've checked your house insurance is still ok now it's unoccupied (especially in winter)?

    Yes i informed the insurance.

I only have a maxium of 4 hours in the house while i am back so i am just bringing some small items in the suitcase so i dont have time for painting.

I was considering getting it painted but the estate agent said its not necessary.

We did received a few offers pretty quickly after we put it on the market the first time so fingers crossed.

Could the agent go back to those who offered initially to see if they are still looking?

    Form your own view.

The agents never recommend doing anything that will potentially hold up a sale. Whilst you have the decorators in, he might lose a sale. That matters far more to him than whether you get a bit more money following redecoration.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
