My SAR came back, and because it drew to their attention that during my original appeal (dont remember it at all!) it was noted that i was the keeper but not the driver, they 'dropped hands', abandoning the case completely, just like that. Brill.0 -
The Slithy Tove is right, you should send that email to Gladstones for their confirmation0

Or DCB Legal or BW Legal, if it is them.
Phone the court on Monday to check if they have received a discontinuance.
Stay on this thread to progress the one you now have, is it about the same site? Tell us when you get a LBC for that one and you can show us a link to the SAR photos that Anne provided about it, the signs, etc.
BTW I have a relative in Bristol I sometimes visit & stay with, and at a push I might be available if that one goes to a hearing, because I am retired & like visiting my relative!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
In need to some help/guidance. I got a PCN when parked in a visitors bay at my mums, I had run up to grab a visitors permit and when I returned had a ticket. I ignored this as we all do, I have since then (at least 2 years later) had a letter to say they were taking me to court. I defended this and I have now had a letter from DCB legal saying they wish to proceed with a Directions Questionnaire enclosed. The amount they are saying I owe is £259 which includes their amount claimed of £184.46. There is no way the original PCN would have been that much had I paid it there and then.
just to add, from the original PCN to now, I have had no communication from One Parking Solutions where there claim to court said 'The driver agreed to pay within 28 days' which I did not,
What do I do next?
Thanks0 -
@Cheltenham1 - you need to open a new thread of your own. Forum etiquette and the potential for confusion in advising more than one poster per thread requires one case only to be dealt with at a time.
You also need to read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 which provides you with each and every step you need to take as your case proceeds towards a hearing. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
