Hiya. Any experts on line at the moment who could assist with resolving hive central heating control problems?
We lost connectivity from our mobile phones to the thermostat this morning.... we have tried following the on line help, but when we switch off and on our boiler, the flashing light on the receiver refuses to go green. It stays flashing double flashes of yellowy orange with a short gap.
We only have one heating "zone", so there's no confusion from that.
Cheers

Update...
Light on receiver now green (yay!)
However, none of our devices can connect to the thermostat. (2 x phones and the tablet I'm using for these posts). All other Wifi connections fine.
Mrs Wild Rover has deleted the app, then reinstalled it. Still can't connect.

And finally... now the effing effing boiler won't turn on at all...
Looks like an engineer visit required.

So is it the boiler or the dodgy technology? I would say Mrs Wild Rover has got the right idea - my son always tells me to turn it off wait a short while then turn it back on again. Perhaps you all needed to be turned off at the same time.0

Hiya... engineer has visited and confirmed it was nothing to do with the Hive, it was a boiler problem which he fixed. The new problem is that the Hive unit hooked up to the broadband/wifi is "green", the hall thermostat is working and is linked up to the boiler and the boiler works fine now.... we can control the boiler from the thermostathowever, every silver lining has a cloud... none of our mobiles or tablets can link to the controls! (We have been able to control the heating from our phones for months until this week.)
The app tells us that the heating is offline, when it is working fine. Looks like we might have to contact the Hive helpdesk.
