Update: I switched the plugs around on the amplifier, and still nothing...0

Is there a way that I can test the TV aerial socket in the room I need it in has any signal getting to it?
Yeah, plug a TV or STB into and see if the channels work. If not, do a retune. You've a 32 inch TV which hopefully will be 'portable' enough.0 -

Have you checked the routing of the cables to see where they go (after the amplifier)?0 -
So, another update.
I bought an internal aerial, and the TV found some channels - so the problem is definitely the cable coming from the amplifier... I think I'm going to have to just take out all the old cables and put new ones in.
Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions, its very much appreciated.
