Parking Eye Coventry Walk-in-Centre
awans
Hi all,
I have read most of the content on here and could not find anything similar to my situation. I received a PCN in the post within 14 days of so-called parking offence. The driver parked the car at Coventry walk-in-centre, on entrance to the car park, there is a sign saying "ANPR system in operation." In the car park there is plenty of signage but it doesn't say to pay on arrival or pay and display. The driver went to the hospital to get the tests done. On return, he noticed that it was simply a pay and display ticketing machine rather than the machines fitted at the main hospital in Coventry i.e. you pay when you leave the car park and shows you the time parked etc. Anyhow, the driver paid using an app for the time parked and left the car park. 10 days later received the PCN. I have asked them to cancel the fine as the driver was a patient and the money owed was paid before leaving the site but they have come back asking for the driver's details? I won't provide driver’s details. Should I now ask them for a Popla code? Is this something which could win the appeal? Many thanks.

The advice is normally not to reveal the driver's identity. In any case it could have been an occupant, another person entirely that had the appointment.
You don't need to ask for a PoPLA code; it should arrive automatically within 35 days of appeal.
Has the keeper complained to PALS or the health centre manager/CEO yet?
Get pics of the site and signage now, ready for PoPLA.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Wait for a popla code
No blabbing about who was driving
Complain to the manager of the health centre and get it cancelled0 -
Thanks for quick replies. Won't reveal the driver

Have not complained yet. Will write to them and hope for the best.
Will keep you updated.

Don't hope for the best, write a strong, indignant but polite letter and expect to get it cancelled. If necessary, refer them to the NHS parking principles (Ask Auntie Google). Thanks for quick replies. Won't reveal the driver

Hi all,
Thanks again for all your help, called the NHS walk-in-centre in Coventry. The receptionist gave me an email address (please pm me if you need it for Coventry), emailed and got it cancelled. Received cancellation letter from Parkingeye on Saturday. This is a great forum with a lot of expertise and a great platform to fight against the corrupt practices of the crooked. Kind regards.0 -
Nice result! Please post the email address here so people can use it openly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
