We fight any claim issue

Hi all, about 2 years ago I started various claims with ‘we fight any claim’ one success but mostly a waste of time so I washed my hands of them, anyway I’ve now received a letter claiming that I’ve privately received a ppi claim settlement from a credit card and that I now need to pay the fee due to them, I’ve made NO such claims and received nothing from anyone outside of WFAC furthermore the claim number they quoted doesn’t match any in my history with them.
Are they just trying it on with me.??? What should I do.??

Complain and ask for evidence. When none arises, refer said complaint to the FCA

Complaint referral should go to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are the Regulator and do not involve themselves in individual complaints.

The letter says they are waiting on confirmation/evidence from the card company........good luck I say it doesn’t exist.
