Car accident on airport private parking
Options
Good morning,
I was involved with car accident between myself and parking worker on their parking premises on Airport. I'm not sure who's at fault, my damages are way bigger than his. We signed statement from their office and they told me to contact their customer service, so they will contact me with further details (after reviewing cctv etc). Should I call directly to my insurer and tell them about everything or can I wait so maybe that will be taken care without noticing my insurer?
Cheers

Let your insurer deal with it. That's what you pay them for.0

You need to tell your insurer asap.
If they haven't admitted liability, their insurer won't deal with your claim - even if it's clear-cut, which it doesn't sound as if this is.0 -
Yes, contact your insurer. It makes no difference that accident happened on "private" land. When my wife's car was damaged in a private car park, we claimed on our insurance who recovered cost of repairs and our excess from his insurer.

I don't think insurers like you signing statements, especially if it contains any admission of liability as they like to establish this for themselves without you compromising their legal position.Signature on holiday for two weeks0
