Finding out which insurers give "new for old" contents cover

Hi, I'm considering getting my very first contents insurance (no need for home insurance or boiler cover or anything like that), and I cannot be in a position where my high-end television is awarded a pittance if something happens to it, so I need to get a contents insurer that will provide a "new for old" insurance instead of the more traditional contents indemnity cover.
I've only tried uswitch so far, but they don't specify which type of insurance I'm being quoted for, so I'm feeling a bit lost, since this bit is crucial for me to be happy with my insurance cover.
Apologies if this has been asked several times, but when I search for "new for old" I'm getting swamped with results that only have the word "for" in them.
Thank you.

Most insurance offers new for old. In a price comparison website when you search for prices there should be a button which says something like summary of cover to show what you are getting.
Have you tried searching with inverted commas around it, as you have written it above, to force a search for the whole phrase? "New for old"0 -
You'll do well to find any mainstream contents insurance that isn't new for old these days so just get on with it! It's definitely clearly flagged as a feature on one or more of the major comparison sites. To be honest they give undue emphasis to it given the extent to which it's almost universal these days.0

My last two insurers - Halifax and Nationwide - both offered "new for old".
Have to say, Nationwide were really, really good when I was forced to make a claim. I needed new specs along with other stuff and they insisted that I get an optician to quote for new ones, rather than use the receipt I had from when I'd purchased the originals (even though
I could have replaced them, more or less like-for-like, for the same cost). Very fast to pay out as well. Didn't require receipts, just photos of the damaged items and internet links to replacements.
Can't comment on Halifax as didn't make a claim with them.0
