Selli=ng flat on rightmove

Hello i am selling my flat . It is advertised on rightmove

i) Is there anyway to see the number of views a property on rightmove website has had

ii) When should i tell the freeholder i am selling. I already have a copy of the lease. Is there anything else the freeholder will need to provide to the purchaser ?

  • My understanding is that Estate agents have access to the information regarding the number of "clicks" on a property.
    My agent was happy to share this information with me so ask them for regular updates

    You? No. RM doesn't know it's your flat.

    Your EA? Yes. Ask them for the stats.

    The solicitors will manage all of that once you accept an offer.

    It's useless information, there could be hundreds of clicks from robots, neighbours, people with nothing better to do. Concentrate on getting viewings, not clicks.

    A viewing is like an interview, without it, you aren't going to get an offer. I'd be asking the agent where the prospects are, not the hits it's had. What if they tell you 10? Or 10,000? It doesn't make any difference, you only need one buyer.

    As Mutton Geoff said, clicks don’t mean anything. When I lived in Devon I had a friend who had a cute thatched cottage for sale with a lovely garden. She had 100s of views on it because people just like looking at properties like that!

    There is a road near me that the locals call “millionaires row”. Houses start at £1m. When one comes on the market I like to have a good look on Rightmove, I like seeing how the other half live :rotfl:
