Yes got the email too!!!
I’ll be transferring out of fidelity into this which I assume I can do!!0 -
The wife and I will be moving our HL SIPPs to Vanguard, unless HL do something promptly about their 0.45% platform fee...? Mostly VLS60, will have a think about the rest (LT and FS mainly).0

The key points
A standard annual account fee of just 0.15%, capped at £375 a year.
The account fee and cap apply across all an individual’s holdings on Vanguard Investor (SIPP, ISA, general account).
I assume drawdown will be free but they are going to announce the process after April 2020.0 -

Strange they can't announce this when the pension launches - sounds like there's more work to be done yet0 -
That gives me somewhere to put my Equitable Life money, assuming it all goes through at the start of the year.0

I've just seen the email - is this by far the best out there when it launches? I am currently H&L0

Just doing my back of fag packet calculations and it looks ok for me with a smallish pot and for ease of use (just looking for a slow and steady VLS 60 with the option to top it up now and again).
I have read some criticism that Vanguard doesn’t have a mobile app. I find their website simple enough to use, even on my phone.
No doubt bigger sums and “sophisticated” investors may need more but for ordinary blokes like me it does exactly what it says on the tin.
More generally, if this attracts people to invest in their futures then it is no bad thing.
Always the option to transfer out later if circumstances change.
More choice can’t be a bad thing.1 -
As whole of market platforms have been pricing in around 0.15% to 0.25%, its no surprise to see a restricted platform come in at the lower end. If you compare to other restricted personal pensions, then 0.15% plus fund charge seems to be the ballpark.I have read some criticism that Vanguard doesn’t have a mobile app. I find their website simple enough to use, even on my phone.
AFAIA, FNZ do not code a phone app. However, they do code for web portals.0 -
For a 100k ETF portfolio, Vanguard’s platform charge is 50 pounds higher than AJ Bell.
However, if I am reading this correctly, they will let you buy and sell ETFs for free (except for the spread).
Not all that different in terms of annual costs but convenient0
