Name change broke Credit Club

I updated MSE credit club with my new marital status and name. (Been using this facility since it started).
It hasn't kept my old name as an alias. It doesn't give me anywhere I can add an alias. It just says I've never existed and can't have any credit.
Thank Christ I'm not trying to buy a house right now.
Incidentally, this strikes me as a problem that will primarily affect women and would need to be resolved to avoid discrimination.
More pressingly, how do I fix my credit rating?
Thanks in advance.

Check directly with the three CRAs and just raise an issue if it's not linked through.
It's an easy fix and not going to impact your rating with any lender.1
