Referring and switching

Options
Hi

I have a current account with Barclays which my salary gets paid into and a linked savings account, then I have a Santander 123 Lite which I pay my mortgage and bills from. I’m just wondering if I could capitalise on the fact my mum has both an account with Nationwide and TSB by her referring me to get a switching bonus to both but not closing either my other accounts down. Could I also get the Quidco cashback on top with TSB or is it only one offer?

Any advice will be greatly received.

Most switching bonuses require the use of CASS and closure of the old accounts. Most people on these boards don't switch their 'main' account, you can have multiple accounts and switch those, also there's rarely a problem with switching one account, receiving a bonus, and then switching that one again.

You do need to read the terms and conditions for each switch and ensure they are met, primarily things like online registration and logging in regularly, typically two direct debits and crediting a minimum sum monthly.

My understanding is that you can do the quidco cashback for TSB as well as the refer a friend though think you can only have one classic plus account on which you earn interest.
