I've just purchased the following laptop...
https://www.ebuyer.com/912688-lenovo-v155-ryzen-3-3200u-8gb-256gb-ssd-15-6-vega-3-windows-81v50004uk?utm_source=hotukdeals&utm_medium=referr%20%20al&utm_campaign=hotukdeals
I know it's not the best but I only need it for browsing and netflix. All I have done so far is install chrome and done some browsing. Chrome keeps freezing, usually when scrolling through facebook.
I don't get the spinning wheel or unresponsive message. It just freezes completely. I can close the window by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar but I then can't re-open chrome until I restart the laptop.
Any suggestions for fixing? I can't stand Edge so this is going to be an issue that becomes very tiresome very quickly!
Thanks

i would start but uninstalling/re-installing chrome"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

Extensions?
Does the same thing happen in Firefox?0 -
I've reinstalled Chrome and it hasn't resolved the problem. So far it has only happened when browsing Facebook and Youtube (but happens consistently with the latter).
No issues when performing the same actions with Firefox. Am I going to have to give up Chrome here!? I'm comfortable with what I'm comfortable with! Haven't had issues with any other laptop and this is the most powerful laptop I've had (albeit not powerful at all, really!).0 -
Have you installed any extensions into Chrome or not?
Try Chrome Safe Mode - which is the same as its incognito mode.
Also just in case: New profile:

All I have done is install Chrome. No extensions. Will try safe mode.0
