PayPal Credit

I have paypal credit with a limit of £3,000, only ever used it for small purchases of maybe £250 spread interest free over 4 months. I’m looking to spend £900 at John Lewis for Christmas but been told you can get a longer interest free period with PayPal Credit? Has anyone heard of this please?

I purchased a new bike with 12 months interest free but it was set at a specific monthly payment rather than just going onto your account so its guaranteed to be payed off in 12 months !
Its not offered by all shops though0 -
Thanks Secia, just done a dummy purchase and put 2 iPads into my basket on John Lewis website and it’s only offering me 4 months 0% interest free so guess will have to settle for that0

I googled reviews of Scan and they looked quite mixed, wasn’t sure how reliable or genuine they are?0 -

I recently used them to buy a new external back up drive and had no issues and took advantage of the 0%.
Order arrived next day via DPD - the only downside is they don't offer free delivery.

I've used Scan in the past to buy expensive PC hardware and I've never had an issue with them.0 -
Used Scan numerous times, never an issue.0

PayPal are moving into a model where certain companies are offering 0% on specific terms, but not on a generalized scale. You can still, at this time, benefit from 4 months of interest-free credit on purchases over the value of £99, where available.
If John Lewis and PayPal do not have an agreement in place for a period of interest-waived credit, then this would not be possible.Advice provided from this account does not consist of any professional knowledge.
