Lost iPad - no lost my iPhone installed

I lost my iPad today and tried searching for it on my iCloud account to see if I could locate it . Find my iPad doesn’t seem to be installed on my iPad .. if it doesn’t turn up how do I erase the contents of it only and not my iPhone ? I am so silly .. I was distracted with the baby and may have left it sitting somewhere

Would changing your iCloud password prevent anyone accessing your stored information ?

If you did not turn on find my iPad then Apple can't locate your device and you will not have the option of deleting data.

You will have to change your Apple password to be safe that no one can access your Apple ID

sign in and you should have an option to change password.

OP if you hold iPad receipt, then call Apple UK Support and they can possibly stop it being used, if it's from a retailer they might be able to track serial number, though long shot t.b.h.
