Home office seat=small desk top table

Good news possible working from home a few days per week could be offered, maybe from q1 2020.
Meanwhile I'll need
1. Table or small computer desk for laptop+15/17" monitor.
2. A nice inexpensive seat or chair

Considerations to be taken.
I have M.S. though mobile for some time yet.
1 bedroom flat-some space in living room, not amazing free space.

Any suggestions ahead of this chance being offered.
P.s. gone are the times of self build p.c. With beautiful sized desk.

    Ikea.

Buy a table top (such as this cheap and cheerful one https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/linnmon-table-top-white-00251135/) and whatever legs you like (cheap ones: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/adils-leg-white-90217972/), or maybe drawers if you think they'll be useful.

Use a small shelf (something like this: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/bergshult-shelf-white-70421238/) and kitchen cabinet legs (like this: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/capita-leg-white-40244341/) to create a shelf for your monitor.

I saw this idea in store and it's perfect for my needs, similar set up to yours. That isn't the shelf I have, I don't think, but I can't remember which it was. The one I got was near the desks but I think any shelf would work, just make sure it's big enough for your monitor.

    Thanks @rach_k

I'm going amazon folding desk route and the <40 pounds chair isn't luxury though it does off adjustable height back and neck support including arms and spinning seat if required , hopeful it offers enough lumba support or similar.
You mention an excellent point, I haven't considered Storage, though I expect 99% of work to be digital platform as office has been paper free for a number of years.
I intend to post an update, though think my very small investment is a decent start-once I shift printer to another wall to free up space which length wise is approx 78.8cm (though another 5cm if I use upto window wall) so less than 100cm.

Check with your employer what they will be willing to pay for. You shouldn't need to pay for office equipment used solely for working at home at your job.

Thanks that certainly could be a valid option.
Though I think the desk and seat will be my cost which I don't mind.
The monitor items weren't available when I collected monitor from office.

To comply with Health and Safety regulations I had to be assessed when working from home full time in order to check what seating I needed which they paid for and anything else I needed so that I could work in comfort.

I appreciate yours is part time but I wouldn't suggest paying for anything you need just yet. I'm sure you don't want to push this in case the offer is withdrawn but do please ask.

Thanks I'll check with Employer's Tues when I return for short additional shift.
