TSB branch closure list

Options
In the news recently that TSB is closing 82 branches
Just FYI - here is the list released today.
Maybe Lloyds might like to buy some of them back!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50585536
My local one was originally a TSB then it became another Lloyds branch when they took over the TSB, located about 300 yards from a larger Lloyds one
Then Lloyds listed it as one to be given in the split off back to the new entity of the TSB - and were probably glad to be rid of it.
Now it's one of those going to be closed by the TSB.

I've only been in the branch once, to get the wife added to the account. It doesn't look like I'll be going in again unless anything comes up in the next 9 months.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Maybe some of the other banks will take on some of those branches.

More likely they'll end up as restaurants, wine bars or Costa etc. Certainly that's been the case around here in recent years.

Thanks for information. A good bank (TSB) ruined by another bank (Lloyds Bank)

I still have my Speedbank card and my TSB magazine where I won £50 and a jumper from TSB for my suggestion about the alien name. (the jumper never fitted me, I think someone used a knitting machine to make it)

This was Greenless Road branch 87-37-18. That is closed, so is the Clydesdale Bank on Main Street and the Royal Bank is shut as well, now a Costa Coffee.

    Changed days.
  • I like the photo the BBC chose to head the article:o

Three prominently displayed signs in the TSB branch window:

    Welcome Back to Local Banking:rotfl:

Doesn't seem particularly likely given that all the others (with the exception of Metro, while they try to establish a high street presence) are doing exactly the same as TSB - the Which? analysis of branch closures since 2015 makes for sobering reading, with 3,312 branches being shut during that time, at an average of 55 per month....
