Answer - Shepherds quake at the sight0
-
Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright
round yon Virgin Mother and Child,
Holy infant so tender and mild,
sleep in Heavenly peace!
sleep in Heavenly peace!
Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight;
glories stream from Heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ, the Saviour, is born!
Christ, the Saviour, is born!
Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, Love’s pure light
radiant, beams from Thy Holy face,
with the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth.
Hope this helpsNothing is truly lost until your mum can't find it!0 -
To enter, tell us which line WOULD NOT come next in the well known Christmas Carol, Silent night.
"Silent night, holy night...." *
All is calm, all is bright.
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Shepherds quake at the sight.
I think the answer is Sleep in heavenly peace? As the question asks which line would not?0 -
Is there any need to continue posting with answers and lyrics when the correct answer was already posted before?August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Am I just not seeing this properly, but all answers are actually in the hymn:
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night,
Shepherds quake at the sight;
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!
Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love's pure light;
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
Edit: Duh, got it, what line does not (immediately) COME AFTER Silent night, holy night.... and that is of course Sleep in heavenly peace
(too long a day..)0 -

That's fine but you are wrong. It asks which line does not follow Silent Night Holy Night therefore the answer is Sleep In Heavenly Peace£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

The question quite clearly asks which line "WOULD NOT" come after "silent night, holy night...."
"all is calm, all is bright" DOES come after this line in the first verse.
"shepherds quake at the sight" ALSO DOES come after this line in the second verse.
Out of the three options, "sleep in heavenly peace" is the only one that DOES NOT come immediately after the line "silent night, holy night...."0
