Vodafone are having my life! Please advise.

Options
Hi all,

Last year I took out an iPhone contract with Vodafone for £36 a month. I then noticed a few months later they were taking out double each month (£72 a month) and I contacted them. They apologised and said the account had been set up incorrectly including the deal I got with Mobile Phones Direct and they would refund the £270 they owed me. A few days passed and I noticed Vodafone had taken out ANOTHER £270 from my account.

I contacted them again. It turns out instead of refunding me £270, they'd accidently taken £270 out again so now they'd wrongfully taken £540 from me! The advisor after a painful conversation told me this amount would remain as credit and my contract each month would be deducted from the £540 they owed me. Completely fed up at the time I agreed.

Fast forward a year later. I've just moved into a new house and waiting to get broadband installed so off to the Carphone warehouse I went and I got a temporary internet dongle with 110 GB on for £30 which I then cancelled once I got home so it didn't renew the next month.

Sooooo. Bill day arrives. My bill is over £200!! Contacted them AGAIN. Sorry it was set up wrong, they didn't include the offer data so they'd been wrongfully charging me for data. I was then told it'd be fixed and my bill would be updated within 24 hours. It's been 2 weeks now and it's still not updated. I cancelled the direct debit as I refuse to allow them to take out over £200 and keep it AGAIN.

I'm literally just at an asbolute end with them. What can I do? All advisor I'm put through to have terrible communication skills and are evidently based abroad.

    Stop using Vodafone ??
Also - be aware that they have form for ruining peoples credit files for issues like this - so although it feels like the right thing to do, cancelling the DD may come back to bite you.

If it were me, I would complain - in writing (pen and paper)
