More Than One Marcus Account?

I've just opened a Marcus Savings account. I'd like to open another one with a different linked account, but when I began the 'open account' process again, it recognised me and then took me to the usual log in page. But once I'd logged in, there was no other option to open another account. Are you only permitted to have one account with Marcus?

There is a previous thread on the subject.

I had wondered that as it lets you rename the account, suggesting you could have separate "pots" for different reasons.
That thread explains all.

The solution to the question asked in the linked thread is not a second account, but to renew the existing account so its interest rate runs for a further 12 months.
The question is why Hodderauthor wants more than one Marcus account. If for "pot" reasons, they should be using a personal finance manager (anything from a piece of paper and a pen to a fully fledged software solution) to split the money into virtual pots.0 -
The question is why Hodderauthor wants more than one Marcus account.
The answer to this is given in the first line of the original post:
"I'd like to open another one with a different linked account..."
There's the obvious way around this, accepting a little more trouble - withdraw to the one linked account and then move from there to where you want the money.
I can't find a specific exclusion to more than one account in the T&Cs, but I suspect you can only have one such account. The only real way of finding out is to contact Marcus.0 -
Marcus' software only allows one account per email address. I opened an account for my mother, who no longer does anything online and used my email so I could monitor it. They subsequently advised me that the only way round it was to set up a different email0
