Audi emissions scandal

Hi All


My wife and I both own Audi vehicles and we both received letters from Audi wanting to recall our vehicles due to the emissions issue.

Neither of us have returned our vehicles, having heard that people who have returned them, have then experienced poor performance

However, we have frequently seen "No win, no fee" companies who claims that they can process a claim against Audi for compensation.

Does anybody know if these companies and / or the possibility of compensation is legitimate or likely ?

Any advice would be appreciated

Compensation for what?
Audi have agreed that there is a problem and have offered to rectify that problem which I assume will be at no cost to yourselves.

If you let them do the required work and then you find that there is a problem with your vehicles, then compensation might be due but as yet, you've suffered no loss of any kind.

Have you ever wondered how many have received said compensation in the UK for this, I'll save you the time, it's zero. Don't waste your time with these ambulance chasers, either take the car in to get sorted or don't, the choice is yours but you won't be getting any compo.

Also, have a look for numerous threads on this forum from people panicking that they've had a letter from the class action solicitor saying they're liable for costs unless they get back in touch to pursue the case.

In short, these solicitors will want paying one way or another.
