27 hour flight change

I booked a flight in advance with Air China to Bangkok with connections.
They first changed the outward connecting flight to two hours earlier which is ok as it was a long connection.
They have just changed the outward flight to 27 hours later, but have not changed the connecting flight from China to Bangkok which leaves a day earlier.
What are my options? Is it possible to cancel this completely after this big change?

When something similar happened to me with Kuwait Airways, I got them to re-reroute me using another airline. Lufthansa in that case.
Ended up having to call Kuwait Airways to get it done.
So check for better flight times or a re-route using another airline.0
