My physio session was excellent and the therapist was really pleased with my progress. :j I'm 'graduating' to one crutch in the house though still on two if outside.

On the way back my friend, Alan, and I dropped into a Marks food shop for a toastie and coffee. I'm beginning to feel more back to normal again.

    Great news about Steve, dumpling.

    Now I need to rest.
  • Gers sounds like you are well on the way to recovery :) I am hoping to go home tomorrow to stay after being at DDs for almost three weeks She would prefer me to stay longer ,but I said it's time I got things as back to normal as possible. I have a bit more movement in my arm and shoulder and can actually make a cup of tea holding the kettle in my right hand which I couldn't do a week ago :)

I am still not driving just yet, but DD will take me to get my shopping tomorrow ,mainly fresh fruit and veg ,eggs etc. I can make do with what I already have in store plus I am about five minutes walk from a Tesco metro if I get stuck. My independent streak is coming to the fore once more :) although I won't be baking for a little while.
The weather has been horrible today and its still very damp and nasty outside so I am glad to be in the warm. DGS Mikey just made me a nice cuppa so its feet up and for me the wireless on
Hope everyone is warm and dry and stays that way
    Take care chums
