I have read the government websites and they quite clearly state that benefits are there to pay for the extra costs of disability.0

It's much easier to justify being selfish when you demonise the undeserving poor.0

When I went to the DWP office to cancel my late sister's disability benefits (see, she really had been ill) I was initially horrified at the number of fag ends I had to wade through to get to the front door. On benefits, moaning about being skint, but able to afford to spend £300 per month on cigarettes? Sorry, but just doesn't wash with me.
If you are skint and have no long-term outlook then cigs are part of the means of survival.
If people can afford regular foreign holidays on ESA then Martin Lewis should sign them up and get them to share their thrifty tips. For all we know the effing woman's trip to Spain was funded by her parents or other relatives.
Or she'd borrowed the money in which case more fool the lender, and it's not a social spending problem.0 -

Cigarettes cause disease and early death. I don't think they can be called 'a means of survival'.0 -
Am I the only one who finds it odd that the same politicians that are keen to spend £58 billion on WASPI women feel entitled to seize 10% of everyone's pension pots without compensation?Saved over £20K in 20 years by brewing my own booze.
Qmee surveys total £250 since November 20180 -

If you include utilities and the internet it's going to be a bit more than 10%....Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -

I wish I'd found that money tree before Corbyn did.0 -
