Claiming ShPP and parental paternity pay after moving abroad

I have just moved to an EU country. and wife is now expecting our second child.
I was paid enough pay from work in UK (which I have now taken career break from so still employed with them in effect) during the relevant period for the purposes of Average Weekly Earnings.
So my question, can I still claim the ShPP and paternity pay that I would be entitled to if I was still living in UK.

There are no residency rules for Statutory Paternity Pay/Statutory Shared Paternity Pay.
So, if you meet the rules for those payments, it doesn't matter where you are living, so long as you are still employed.0 -

Thanks fort that. I am being asked to fill in forms so that I can have social insurance where I now live in EU. This is so that I can claim parental benefit for my son. I can claim for that I would have thought, but what about claiming ShPP in UK for my new baby when born, and also claiming the parental benefit being offered by my new country (They offer a benefit for having a child, whether I am working or not in their country)0 -

Have you asked your employer if they are going to pay you ShPP?
I would also check to see if you receiving other payments would affect benefits that are administered by another EU country.0
