Accounting for Sole Trader

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend an accounting website/software that is good for someone who is a self-employed sole trader?
I want to be able to add income/expenditure manually rather than connecting to an account as I just use a current account rather than a business account.
I'd like to be able to add some transactions from the past as I am rubbish and not up to date with it all.
Ideally I'd like to be able to add details separately for different businesses (I have two businesses and also do some freelance work so although i do a combined tax return I would like to be able to look at them independently.
Thanks!

I'd suggest VT if you want multiple businesses and just looking at historic data entry rather than using it "live" to create invoices etc. https://www.vtsoftware.co.uk. They do a free cash book program or you can pay (£130 or so) as a one off purchase of the more functional version that has more options, ledgers, etc. but if you're just doing simple sole trader accounts, the cash book is probably adequate.0

I've just started using Xero. Looks pretty good so far.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0
