On my John Lewis Credit Card i set transaction alerts to let me know when anything over £1 is spent. However any purchase i make at Tescos are never notified. usually it takes a day and a half to two days for it to appear on my online statement.
Has anyone else noticed this please ?

What a shame. You will just have to remember that you made the transaction instead of relying on the credit card company alerting you of the fact.0

I don't have a John Lewis card, but my Tandem card gives me instant alerts in Tesco.0

i have contacted john lewis and they have suggested i reset the transaction alerts so i've done that and will see if that works.0

I've just got a john lewis card and can't say I'm that impressed.I've never received any alerts for transactions (even those at Waitrose), even thought they are turned on in the app and on the website. I sent a message in the app and have no responce in more than a week.0

Is it possible that the Tesco transactions are below the floor limit that requires authorisation (I'm assuming this is still a thing) and as such John Lewis (HSBC) is not immediately aware of them?0

A good test for OP would be to check available balance before & after purchase.Life in the slow lane0 -
But surely the whole point of a floor limit was that there would be no need for an authorisation, so there wouldn't be anything for the issuer to see until the merchant submitted the transaction through for settlement. As I indicated in my earlier post, I don't know if floor limits still exist. You seem to be suggesting everything is now authorised, in which case I'm obviously barking up the wrong tree.0

I get pretty much instant notification from my John Lewis credit card for every purchase I make even if I make them through my Curve card and even in tesco0
