LBC from CIS (debt collection agent)

Dear All,
Has anyone had this happen?
On one of the groups i follow regarding Earlham House shops the pattern usually follows.
NTK > refuse appeal > collection agencies > Gladstone's > claim
Now people are getting sent these LBC letters from a company called CIS (credit Investigation Services) but using the parking companies logo and headed paper.
Smells like a cost saving measure to me as surely you either deal with these things yourself or get the solicitors to do it.
A debt collection agent are not going to adhere to pre action protocol etc etc.

There's loads of recent threads about this duo. Do forum searches on keywords NPE CIS and read those to get up to speed on the latest.
HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:
Hit your 'Back' button to get back to the forum thread list. On the bar just above the threads you'll see the 'Search' function. Click on the 'Advanced Search' button and on the following page place your keyword(s) in the 'Search By Keyword(s)' and make sure the 'Show Results As' button (at the foot of the window) is changed from 'Threads' to 'Posts'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There are dozens of threads like this, just search for CIS NPE as your keywords. We don't need any more (except thanks for posting that picture of the letter, that's new!).
I hope the Earlham group are reading defences here and knowing how to defend. They can copy any of the threads from this month - which tell you what to do with that letter - and we beg for no more thread about CIS or NPE till actual court stage!
We can't keep repeating the same thing.
We do that every day anyway but these threads are all about an undated phishing letter that sort of looks like a LBC but asks for payment to CIS, a debt collector, so likely sent out by CIS using NPE letter heading & logo.
Come back when you all get a court claim, and one lead 'Earlham House PCN claims group thread' poster would be best, not 20 threads!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
