Halifax clarity eligibility criteria?

Hello,
I hold a Halifax current account. I'd like to know if any of you know how long it takes before being eligible for a Halifax Clarity credit card.

  • It depends on your status - somewhere between immediately and never.

You'll need a reasonably good file.

You don't need a Halifax account to have their credit cards.

I applied for the Clarity card without a Halifax account, was offered a limit of £XXXXX on the eligibility checker and got given that limit upon application.
