Thames Water Build over agreement How long?

Hi

I am looking to do extension, there is currently a manhole in the way that requires removing.

I have seen the application form on the water company website.

Does anyone have a time frame, as to the length it will take from approval prospective.

Or is it similar to building control, you can start after 48 hours?

Regards

The effects.

  • Thames water are normally very efficient with their build over applications.
I would say on average it takes 8-10 days to get approval. That is with the assumption that you provide them with all the necessary drawings.

in some instances TW will allow you to self certify your works. take a look at their website for the criteria.

I went this route, worked out cheaper and was approved within a week.
