Howdy !
While I'm doing everything i can you keep up my end of the deal with universal credit , I am not a Twitter user, and have no intention of being one . Each to their own , but I like to keep anti social media to a minimum .
I've just received a message from 'Michelle ' advising me of Dorset Twitter/ Dorset Jcp . Now Michelle is not my job coach ,and I have a phone appointment with another job coach 'Andy ' on 4 December
Am I allowed to tell Michelle in my journal that I don't do Twitter ?
I find this annoying .
Thanks

Of course you can, you have no obligation to have any social media accounts at all.0

Thanks Phoenix .

I'll do that now . Guess I should treat it as a polite suggestion ,rather than a universal credit demand .0 -
I suspect that Michelle has sent a blanket message to all claimants telling them about the DWP Dorset Twitter feed, so I very much doubt this message is individually directed at you. Just ignore it, replying just adds to the noise. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter0

All she is doing is letting you know of where you could get help, you don't have to do it.
I would hazard a guess it is a bulk message sent to all UC customers based in your area.
We often send bulk messages about jobs etc in the same way, normally we put please ignore if not relevant to your circumstances at the top of the message.0 -
Hi AC!
Come on, you will want to be abreast of any info about jobs, training, other opportunities perhaps? As others have said you can ignore, but I think you can also just view a twitter feed without having an account, so it may be helpful in your job search (?) just to occasionally take a look?

You don't need a Twitter account to view Twitter or tweets but you do if you want to look at the "tweets and replies" or "Media" sections of a profile.or the followers/following, links and moments of a profile. If you can live without all that then just don't sign up.0 -
