Can I open a starling euro account and use that to switch into Barclays normal current account?

Why would you want to do this, anyway?

I want to switch to Barclays blue rewards offer but there’s no bank accounts I have that I want to use as donor accounts. They’re all long standing (over three years now at least) and I was thinking that’d be a quick way to do it.

I’ve just opened a think Money account and they’re part of CASS. Will try doing that if the card comes before 30th November.

Wanted to use BO to switch but I can’t see if they’re part of the CASS or not, even though they’re part of Natwest.

Monzo or Metro should be very quick to open, or a 2nd / 3rd etc account at a bank you are already with. I don't know whether Bo is part of CASS. They aren't listed on the CASS website but you could always ask them.

Thank you, I think I’ll ask Bo in the morning if they support switching away. Otherwise, I might open a 2nd account with TSB or Nationwide. The £120 net from Barclays’ offer seems too good to resist given I’m already holding an account there anyway.
