The polls don’t show that - although they could be wrong of course.
I think a lot of moderate Labour Voters didn't vote Labour in 2017 but their voters have been boosted by younger voters. I also think that brexit will cause people to switch allegiances with remain supporting Tories voting LibDem , although I think their stance on revoking article 50 has lost them votes. and leave supporting Labour voters voting Tory or Brexit party. Should be some interesting results.0 -
IMO yes.
But going too far to the left labour have lost some moderates (and to a lesser extent the tories too).0 -
The Tories have not just lurched to the Hard Right but all the moderates have either been expelled or left in disgust. When there is no place in the Tory Party for the likes of Michael Heseltine or Kenneth Clarke (who both served in Thatcher's cabinet so hardly leftwing firebrands) & Chris Patten and former Prime Minister Sir John Major are supporting independent candidates who had the Tory whip removed you know that something very bad has happened. "Let me make one thing absolutely clear: none of them has left the Conservative Party, the Conservative Party has left them." said Sir John Major.
They haven't left because the Tories have lurched to hard left, which even I as centre left voter can see is not correct, but because of their position on Brexit.0 -

They are 86 and 79 respectively.......:eek::eek::eek::eek:
From a different era. As is Corbyn. The world is a very different place than when Thatcher was in power.0
