Flat Roof - Felt the right way

I've recently had a flat roof re-felted and I'm not sure if it is laid the correct way or not.
The old felt was rolled out diagonally towards the side with the guttering I assume to allow easy rain water run off. The new felt has been laid horizontally towards the side that doesn't have guttering.
Will this cause water to sit on the roof where the joins of the felt over lap each other and could cause leaking in time?

I wouldnt think it will matter, but I would personally overlap with the slope of the roof. Is there a slope?0

It probably slopes ever so slightly hence why the guttering is only on one side.0

They should start at the lowest side, where the guttering is, working up the slope with the last strip laid at the highest point. Having said that, if it's almost flat it doesn't really matter that much.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
