I would like to "nanny"/"baby sitter" at the weekends as a part time job/ side hustle. I don't do much with my weekends and I'd like to earn more money for saving towards my driving lessons and buying a house with my husband.
I'm lucky enough to work in a childcare nursery during the week full time and have these qualifications;
Level 2 & Level 3 Childcare and education
Up to date first aid certificate
Clean & rolling DBS
7 years working as a level 3 nursery nurse with all ages and backgrounds
I also have experience with looking after children from 8 months, who requires bottle feeding, naps, nappy changing
and have experience of working up to the age of 4 years old
The services I would provide would be;
* Light house work
* Pet sitting
* Looking after the children
* Setting out activities
* Cooking basic meals and providing snacks when required
* Log of what we have done together such as activities, how much they've eaten, when they fell asleep, what pet care i provided etc.
* Basic care needs such as helping with toileting, nappy changing, bottle feeding for babies & toddlers
* House sitting
Do i have to sign up to OFSTED if i was looking after the children at their home?
Do I have to set it up through the government so they can take taxes and stuff, I haven't earned anything yet.
Can I just accept cash & BACs without the parent signing up as an "employer" ?
Is there anything else I need to do before advertising and making a website to advertise and post information about my services?

you are asking for facts that merely require you to use google to find them yourself. There are much more relevant websites to be reading for your answers than on here, for example:
https://www.gov.uk/become-childminder-nanny
https://www.gov.uk/become-childminder-nanny/register-nanny
https://www.pacey.org.uk/working-in-childcare/childminders/becoming-a-childminder/
https://www.pacey.org.uk/working-in-childcare/nannies/
learn the difference between being self-employed childminder and being an employed "nanny"
https://www.pacey.org.uk/parents/working-with-your-childcarer/employer-responsibilities/
a self employed person does register with HMRC and declares their own taxes obviously
https://www.gov.uk/log-in-file-self-assessment-tax-return/register-if-youre-self-employed
an employee does not0 -
Presumably the above, informative response was not the answer the OP wanted to receive :cool:
