Outside lights advice - long life bulbs needed

I had 3 lights fitted years ago, front back & side.

The front one is a lantern style with an ordinary style bulb & it’s great.

The back and sides - the bulbs don’t last long. I can’t change them so they end up not working for an age while I’m waiting for them to be changed.

The side one is a light and PIR. The back is a light and separate PIR (it’s a 360 degree PIR - so no blind spots).

Inside my house I’ve changed all my lighting to low energy and I find the bulbs last forever.
Do I need to change these units? Do you think that will solve the problem?
How about these

Would those bulbs last a long time?

It's an LED unit, it doesn't have a replaceable bulb, so if it fails you'll have replace the whole unit. How long it will last? Well, it's rated as having a 30,000 hour lifespan.

Absolutely get LED. Buy from a good supplier, and they should last as promised. I've had an LED floodlight on my back garden for seven and a half years so far. The halogen lamp it replaced needed a new bulb every 18 months.

Well, the Manufacturer Guarantee is 3 years. This is a more realistic esimation as LEDs fail pretty often.
My spotlight with the same warranty lasted less than 2 years.

So what I’ve selected from screwfix is a good option?

Why not if a floodlight is really what you want ?
    How are your lights wired?

It's not clear if this one can be opened to connect the existing wire inside. If not, you'll possibly need an extrta junction box suitable for outdoors.

What units do you currently have?

They may be upgradable to LED.

It might be time to review your requirements.

    What are the light for.

What lighting would you like around your house.

No idea. They were wired up properly for outdoors and have round silver junction boxes.

Just something that lights up if someone should be in the garden or if I need to go into the garden at night.

I don’t know what I have, I can’t remember. They look like them, but the back one is bigger - high output, not really needed to be so bright.

There may be better options that give a much broader beam to cover a bigger area at lower levels still enough to see with lower bright bits an shadow..
